Excellent instructor Furqan Tanwir (aka Mr. Kan) Chess Master ranked in the top 1% amongst the world's best Chess players, with 17 years of experience teaching kids in local schools, is back! He is offering the following classes:
New Beginners Chess K-1 & New Beginners Chess 2-4: 
for children who have little or no knowledge of chess, geared as an introduction to the game in a fun & engaging way; two groups: Kindergarten - 1st Grade (K-1) and 2nd - 4th Grade (2-4)
Rising Stars Chess:
for students who understand all the basic rules and are capable of playing complete games; 1st - 5th Grade
*New Challengers Chess:
for students beyond Rising Stars with Intermediate/Advanced skills; 1st - 10th Grade
*Future Masters Chess:
for the most advanced students, training to become formidable competitors; K - College

Please note: both "New Challengers" & "Future Masters" attend the same classes but compete in different sections in weekend tournaments held Sundays at 4:15 PM.
